Lesson Overview

2.3 – Internal vs. External Distractions: External distractions are things you can see or hear like noise, messages, or people talking. Internal distractions are thoughts, memories, or worries inside your mind. Both types compete for your attention in daily life. You can’t remove all distractions, but you can learn to manage them. Simple tools like noise-canceling headphones, deep breaths, or journaling can help. Noticing which type distracts you most gives you a clue about what to fix. Sometimes your brain craves breaks, not more effort. Learning to balance your environment and mindset helps your focus stay strong through change.
