Lesson Overview

3.9 – Strengthening Working Memory: Working memory is like a small desk inside your brain. It holds the pieces you’re using right now, like steps in math or directions on paper. Keeping too much there causes overload. You can strengthen it through short challenges like memory games or mental math. Writing things down frees space for active thinking. Practice repeating small sequences or lists before checking them. Working memory grows with daily use, much like a muscle. When it’s strong, multitasking feels smoother and mistakes drop.
