Lesson Overview

2.2 – Family Traditions and Identity: List the rituals your family repeats during seasons, holidays, and milestones. Ask what each tradition was meant to teach or protect. Decide which ones align with your current values and goals. Adapt traditions to fit your life stage without losing their message. Create new rituals that honor who you are becoming. Invite younger relatives to learn and lead parts of the ritual. Document the meaning so it is not lost over time. Practice the tradition on a regular schedule to build memory. Share the story behind it when others join you. Let traditions be living guides, not strict rules.
