8.8 – Managing Conflict as a Leader: Conflict is inevitable where ideas collide, but resolution defines leadership. Address tension early before it turns toxic. Listen to all sides without immediate judgment or bias. Clarify misunderstandings through calm discussion, not accusation. Focus on solving the issue, not assigning blame. Create win-win outcomes where possible to preserve relationships. Maintain confidentiality to protect everyone’s dignity. After resolution, set follow-up plans to prevent recurrence.
