Lesson Overview

7.9 – Learning the Role of Allies in Fighting Inequality: Allies use their privilege to amplify marginalized voices rather than speak for them. They share resources, space, and visibility for fair causes. Effective allies listen first, learn second, and act third. They correct harmful behavior among peers without public grandstanding. Support is shown through consistency, not social trends. Allies accept criticism with grace and adapt accordingly. They encourage diversity in leadership, not just participation. A good ally opens doors that others cannot. Real allyship demands humility and sustained effort. Equality grows faster when solidarity replaces silence.
