Lesson Overview

3.7 – Learning to Disagree With Respect: Disagreement is an opportunity to grow, not to divide. Focus on the issue, not the person, when you respond. Use calm language and an even tone to prevent escalation. Listen carefully to fully understand the other side. Repeat key points to show you are hearing, not dismissing. Ask questions that clarify, not corner. State your position with logic and evidence. Look for partial agreements to build bridges. End discussions with appreciation for open dialogue. Respect during disagreement builds long-term credibility.
