Lesson Overview

6.2 – Identifying Issues That Matter to You: Begin by noticing what problems stir emotion or curiosity within you. Issues connected to your experiences often inspire the strongest motivation. Research local, national, or global problems that affect daily life. Ask which issues align with your values and abilities. Choose one cause to focus on deeply rather than spreading too thin. Understand both sides of the issue before forming your stance. Talk to people directly impacted for authentic perspective. Join online forums or community meetings to learn more. When you connect passion with purpose, action becomes sustainable. The first step in advocacy is caring enough to understand fully.
