Lesson Overview

5.11 – Setting Boundaries Without Offending: Boundaries protect relationships from tension and burnout. They define what feels safe, fair, and respectful for you. Setting them calmly shows self-respect, not selfishness. Use “I” statements like “I need time to rest tonight.” Be clear without blaming or guilt-tripping. Respect others’ limits just as you want yours respected. People who care will understand your honesty. Healthy limits prevent small irritations from turning into fights. Boundaries keep friendship balanced and long-lasting. Saying no kindly helps both sides grow stronger.
