Rephrasing prevents confusion and shows patience. Try, “Let me say that another way” instead of sounding frustrated. Listening to what they heard helps you adjust clearly. Sometimes tone or pacing makes the difference. Avoid arguing—focus on clarity, not being right. Communication is teamwork, not competition. Each retry improves understanding and connection. Patience and kindness turn confusion into shared insight.
