Lesson Overview

6.5 – Expressing Preferences Calmly and Clearly: Preferences are small choices that shape comfort and harmony. You might prefer quiet talks or more planning ahead. Saying what you like helps others understand your rhythm. Speak calmly, without demanding or apologizing too much. You can use gentle phrases like “I’d like to…” or “It helps me when…” Respect that others have preferences too, and listen to theirs. When both sides express openly, tension fades. It’s easier to cooperate when everyone feels heard. Clear preferences prevent resentment and promote teamwork. Communication grows peaceful when honesty becomes normal.
