Lesson Overview

8.2 – Recognizing When Something Went Wrong: You can feel when a conversation takes a wrong turn. The tone may shift, faces tighten, or silence grows heavy. The other person might pull back or seem distant. Instead of ignoring it, pause and check in gently. Ask, “Did I say something confusing or hurtful?” Staying calm helps both people reflect clearly. Owning your part shows maturity and care. Sometimes the misunderstanding is small and fixable. Paying attention early keeps tension from spreading. Awareness and kindness make quick repair possible.
