2.8 – How to Avoid Rambling in Speech: Rambling loses your listener’s attention. It often happens when you think while talking. Plan your main point first, then give one or two examples. Pause between thoughts instead of filling space. Silence shows control, not weakness. Practice summarizing ideas in one clear sentence. If you drift off topic, gently return to your main point. Use short words and avoid long side stories. Clarity comes from focus, not speed. The more you practice, the more powerful your words sound.
