When someone feels let down, breathe and stay kind. Don’t rush to fix their feelings with over-giving. Let silence do part of the work—it teaches acceptance. The more you face small disappointments, the stronger you get. Every honest no builds emotional muscle. Remind yourself that kindness includes truth, not just comfort. People may resist now but respect you later. Real comfort grows from mutual honesty, not false agreement.
