💬 Assertiveness & Boundary Setting *coming soon

Lesson Overview

4.3 – Practicing Simple “No” Statements: Practice makes “no” sound natural instead of harsh. Start in low-pressure moments like declining refills or extra tasks. Say, “No, thank you,” or “That doesn’t work for me.” Keep your tone calm and your body relaxed. Don’t rush to fill the silence afterward—let your words stand. Each successful no trains your mind to feel safe. If guilt appears, remind yourself you’re protecting energy, not rejecting people. Write a few sample nos in a notebook and rehearse them. Over time, saying no becomes confidence in action.
