Lesson Overview

3.11 – When to Say Yes With Conditions: A conditional yes keeps you helpful and healthy. It sounds like “Yes, if…” or “Yes, with this limit.” You might say, “Yes, I can help for 30 minutes,” or “Yes, after I finish this.” Conditions prevent quiet resentment and last-minute panic. They teach others how to work with you respectfully. Use conditions when you care but can’t give everything. Keep them simple and realistic so you can follow through. If your conditions aren’t honored, step back kindly. Conditional yeses protect the friendship and your energy.
