Lesson Overview

3.7 – Recognizing Hidden Expectations From Others: Hidden expectations are unspoken rules others place on you. You might feel guilty for resting or saying no. People may assume you’ll always help or always agree. Notice when you feel pressure without clear words. Ask gentle questions like “What are you hoping I’ll do?” Bring expectations into the open so you can decide. You are allowed to choose what fits your limits. Clear answers stop silent resentment from growing. Healthy relationships include honest asks, not secret demands. Naming expectations protects your time and peace.
