💬 Assertiveness & Boundary Setting *coming soon

Lesson Overview

4.8 – Standing Firm Without Being Defensive: Defensiveness comes from feeling attacked, but firmness comes from calm confidence. You don’t have to raise your voice to hold your line. Keep your shoulders relaxed and tone steady. Use “I” statements to show ownership: “I’m not available tonight.” If someone challenges you, repeat your statement once, then stop. Defensiveness adds fire; firmness adds peace. Others will adjust to your new calm authority. True power shows through control, not volume.
