💬 Assertiveness & Boundary Setting *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

3.9 – Distinguishing Between Wants and Needs: Wants are nice to have; needs are must-haves. A want might be extra time; a need might be basic rest. A want might be praise; a need might be respect. List your top needs so they don’t get lost in busy days. When choices clash, protect needs first. Explain the difference when you set a boundary. Say, “I want to help, but I need recovery time.” Meeting needs builds stability you can count on. When needs are met, wants can be handled with ease. Clear priorities prevent overload and regret.
