Lesson Overview

8.8 – Why Consequences Matter in Boundaries: Boundaries mean little without follow-through. Consequences are not punishments—they’re clarity in action. If someone breaks your rule, calmly show the outcome. For example: “If you yell, I’ll end the call.” Then do it. Each time you enforce a consequence, respect increases. Skipping follow-through teaches people your limits are flexible. Calm consistency shows strength, not cruelty. Boundaries backed by action create lasting change. Respect grows when words match behavior.
