Lesson Overview

1.2 – Exploring Personal Interests and Hobbies: Interests are topics that grab your attention and make time move fast. Hobbies are activities you choose to do again and again because they feel good. Make a list of things you read about, watch videos on, or talk about often. Try small tests like a club meeting, a workshop, or a free online class. Pay attention to how you feel during and after the activity. Notice if you enjoy being hands-on, creative, social, or analytical. Keep notes on what you liked and what you didn’t. Share your interests with someone who supports you. Many jobs connect to common hobbies in surprising ways. Exploring your interests can point you toward meaningful work.
