Lesson Overview

3.8 – Dealing with Workplace Conflict Calmly: Conflict happens when people have different views or needs. The goal isn’t to win but to solve the problem peacefully. Stay calm and use respectful language when you talk. Listen to the other side without interrupting. Repeat what they said to show you understand. Focus on the issue, not the person. Offer possible solutions instead of blame. If things feel stuck, ask a supervisor or HR to help mediate. Keep your emotions steady and your voice calm. Learning to solve conflict builds leadership and maturity. When handled right, conflict can lead to better teamwork.
