Lesson Overview

2.2 – Creating a Simple Resume: A resume is a snapshot of your skills, experience, and education. It helps employers see what you can offer at a glance. Start with your name, contact info, and a short summary of your goals. List your work and volunteer experiences in order, starting with the most recent. Include clear examples of what you accomplished at each job. Add education, certificates, or awards that show growth. Keep your layout clean and easy to read. Use action words like “organized,” “led,” or “created.” Proofread several times to catch small errors. A strong resume gives a great first impression and opens doors to interviews.
