6.13 – Moving In: What You Need and How to Plan: Moving in takes planning and organization to go smoothly. Make a checklist of essentials like furniture, bedding, cleaning supplies, and basic groceries. Schedule your move early to get help or rent a truck if needed. Clean the space before unpacking to start fresh. Take pictures of the unit’s condition for your records. Set up utilities and internet ahead of time so everything works when you arrive. Label boxes by room to make unpacking easier. Take your time setting up—it doesn’t all need to be done in one day. Moving carefully reduces stress and helps you settle comfortably.
