8.14 – Building a First Aid Kit: A well-stocked first aid kit prepares you for small emergencies. Include bandages, gauze, antiseptic wipes, pain relievers, and medical tape. Add tweezers, gloves, and a thermometer for extra safety. Keep your kit in an easy-to-find spot, like the bathroom or kitchen. Check supplies every few months and replace anything expired. Label each item clearly and teach family members where it’s stored. You can buy pre-made kits or make your own at home. A first aid kit gives peace of mind knowing you’re ready for the unexpected.
