8.8 – Recognizing When to Seek Medical Help: Knowing when to get help can prevent small issues from becoming serious. Seek medical care if you have a high fever, severe pain, breathing trouble, or lasting fatigue. Don’t ignore signs like dizziness, chest pain, or changes in vision. For mild symptoms, you can rest, hydrate, or take over-the-counter medicine first. If symptoms don’t improve, contact your doctor or urgent care. Call 911 in emergencies like bleeding, unconsciousness, or severe injury. Keep important numbers saved on your phone for quick access. Listening to your body helps you act wisely and stay safe.
