Lesson Overview

9.2 – Understanding Emotions in Problem-Solving: Emotions play a big role in how we react to challenges. When you’re upset or anxious, it’s harder to think clearly. Notice what you feel—anger, fear, frustration, or sadness—and name it without judgment. Take a break or deep breaths before responding. Remind yourself that emotions are signals, not instructions. Once you calm down, revisit the issue with logic and patience. Recognize how your feelings affect decisions, both good and bad. Respect others’ emotions, too, since everyone handles stress differently. Balancing emotions with clear thinking leads to better choices and calmer communication.
