Lesson Overview

3.6 – Accepting Feedback Without Getting Defensive: Feedback helps you learn and grow, even if it’s hard to hear. When someone offers advice, pause and listen completely before reacting. Try to understand what they’re really saying instead of just feeling judged. Ask for examples so you can improve clearly. Thank the person for helping you grow. Reflect on the feedback privately and decide what changes to try first. Avoid arguing or making excuses—it blocks learning. Keep track of progress to show you take it seriously. Over time, feedback becomes a helpful tool, not a threat. Staying open turns criticism into confidence.
