2.14 – Interview Etiquette: What to Do and What Not to Do: Good manners matter as much as good answers. Arrive early but not too early—ten minutes is perfect. Turn off your phone before entering. Greet everyone politely, even in the lobby. Keep eye contact but don’t stare. Listen fully before replying to questions. Avoid interrupting or speaking negatively about past jobs. Smile and show genuine interest in the role. Afterward, thank the interviewer for their time. Avoid chewing gum or fidgeting too much. Professional etiquette leaves a strong, lasting impression.
