🛡️ Teen Suicide Series
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.101 – What Is Self-Worth: Self-worth is how much you believe you matter, even when things go wrong or others don’t treat you kindly. It’s the quiet sense that your life has value beyond what you do, wear, or achieve. Many people mistake self-worth for confidence, but confidence comes and goes while worth stays constant. You can fail a test, lose a job, or feel left out, yet still be worthy of love and respect. Self-worth grows when you speak kindly to yourself and stop letting every mistake decide your value. It also builds when you forgive yourself and try again after falling short. You don’t earn worth — you recognize it. When you start to see that being human already gives you value, you stop chasing approval that never lasts. The goal is to feel enough even when no one is clapping. True self-worth becomes the anchor that keeps you steady when life gets stormy.
