🛡️ Teen Suicide Series
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.60 – Surviving the Night You Thought You Wouldn’t: Nights can feel endless when pain grows loud and hope feels far away, but getting through one night can save your entire future. Start by promising yourself you’ll stay until sunrise — just that. Turn on a light, wrap up in a blanket, or put on soft sounds that remind you the world still exists beyond your thoughts. Reach out to a crisis line, friend, or online chat — connection can pull you back when your mind says you’re alone. Drink water, breathe slowly, and let your body know it’s safe for now. If your mind races, write every thought down instead of acting on it. Move, stretch, or walk if you can; motion helps energy leave your body. Tell yourself that feelings can’t last forever, even when they scream otherwise. When morning comes, you’ll have proof that survival is possible. Each night you make it through becomes a victory that builds your strength for the next one. Staying alive tonight gives tomorrow a chance to surprise you.
