Lesson Overview

1.105 – The Difference Between Confidence and Ego: Confidence is quiet strength, while ego is loud defense. Confidence grows from self-trust, knowing your abilities without needing to prove them. Ego, however, shouts to hide insecurity and often pushes others down to feel tall. Many people confuse the two because both can look bold from the outside. True confidence makes space for others, celebrates learning, and admits mistakes. Ego fears being wrong and needs constant praise to survive. When you act from confidence, you lift others up instead of competing for worth. Confidence says, “I’m good,” while ego says, “I’m better.” The more you ground yourself in honesty and kindness, the less you need to perform. Real strength never needs to brag; it simply shows up and stays calm.
