Lesson Overview

1.46 – The Crisis Text Line and Suicide Hotline: When you feel like you can’t talk to anyone around you, a crisis line can connect you with someone who will listen right away. The Crisis Text Line and Suicide Lifeline are open 24/7 for moments when you need to be heard. The people on the other end are trained to stay calm, patient, and supportive. You can text, call, or chat online if speaking out loud feels too hard. You don’t have to be in immediate danger to reach out — it’s okay to contact them just because you feel hopeless or scared. They can help you make a safety plan or remind you of reasons to hold on. Everything you share is private, and you’re never judged for what you say. It’s a lifeline for when your world feels like it’s collapsing. Reaching out is brave because it interrupts isolation with connection. Those few minutes of reaching out can be the bridge that keeps you here to see tomorrow.
