🛡️ Teen Suicide Series
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.115 – When You Start to Believe the Insults: After hearing cruel words enough times, your brain can start to treat them like facts. Insults dig deep when repeated, especially during moments of weakness. You might start repeating them in your mind until they sound like your own thoughts. But those words were never yours — they were thrown at you by people carrying their own pain. The healing comes from challenging those lies each time they appear. Replace them with evidence of your strength and the good you’ve done. It takes practice, but over time your self-talk shifts from poison to protection. Every time you refuse to agree with cruelty, you reclaim part of your power. Your worth doesn’t disappear because someone couldn’t see it. You are not what they said — you are what you choose to believe next.
