Lesson Overview

1.27 – When You Can’t Stop Crying: Crying that won’t stop isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s your body’s way of releasing what words can’t. Tears carry stress hormones and help reset your nervous system. When sadness feels bottomless, crying can be a survival tool, not a problem. Sometimes you don’t even know what you’re crying for—just that everything hurts at once. Instead of fighting it, try to let it happen safely, maybe while wrapped in a blanket or sitting quietly. The goal is to let emotions move through you, not drown you. Hydrate, rest, and allow yourself to feel without judgment. After a heavy cry, people often feel slightly lighter because the body has done its job. Your tears mean your system is still working. You’re still fighting, still healing, even when it looks like breaking.
