Lesson Overview

1.26 – Panic Attacks That Lead to Suicidal Thinking: When your heart pounds, breathing races, and everything spins, panic can convince you that death is the only way to stop it. But panic attacks are a false alarm—your body is shouting “danger” when none exists. Learning to ride the wave without fighting it helps it fade faster. Grounding to your senses—touching something cold, counting sounds, focusing on breath—can calm the storm. It’s not your fault that your brain floods your body with fear. You’re not weak for feeling overwhelmed; you’re human reacting to stress. Panic passes even when it feels endless. Having a plan ready—a person to call, a safe place to go—keeps you connected when your mind feels hijacked. The more you practice calming responses, the less power panic has over you. You are stronger than the rush of fear.
