Lesson Overview

1.54 – Crying Isn’t Weak — It’s Survival: Crying is your body’s natural release valve when emotions build too high. It helps your brain reset and your heart slow down. Many people are taught that crying shows weakness, but it actually shows you’re human and alive. Tears carry stress hormones out of your system, which can help you feel calmer afterward. When you cry, you’re not falling apart — you’re letting go of what your body can’t hold anymore. Everyone cries for different reasons: grief, frustration, relief, or even kindness. Allowing yourself to cry is a sign of self-compassion, not failure. You don’t need to apologize for tears; they are proof you still care enough to feel. After crying, people often find it easier to think clearly and take small steps forward. Let your tears remind you that healing starts with release, not hiding.
