🛡️ Teen Suicide Series
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.55 – Taking One Hour at a Time: When everything feels unbearable, thinking about tomorrow can be too much, so focus on one hour at a time. Shrinking time makes big problems feel a little smaller. You can get through sixty minutes, even if you don’t know about the next ones yet. During that hour, focus on what helps you breathe — a walk, a shower, a song, or talking to someone kind. Once that hour passes, decide what to do with the next one. This simple approach builds endurance one small piece at a time. You don’t have to have your whole life figured out right now; surviving the next hour is enough. Time doesn’t fix pain instantly, but it gives space for change to happen. Each hour you survive proves that strength still lives inside you. Keep collecting hours — soon, they’ll turn into days worth staying for.
