Lesson Overview

1.108 – Why Self-Worth Feels So Fragile: Self-worth can feel fragile because it’s often built on shifting things like grades, jobs, or relationships. When those change, your sense of value can crash. The world constantly tells us we have to earn love or prove our importance. That pressure makes us fear failure, as if mistakes erase our worth. But real worth is like the foundation of a house — strong even when the walls shake. It becomes stronger when you care for yourself instead of judging yourself. Each time you survive pain or learn from loss, your worth gets reinforced. You don’t have to feel confident to still be worthy; they aren’t the same. The goal is to root your worth in who you are, not what you do. Once you see it can’t be taken, it stops feeling so fragile.
