Lesson Overview

3.12 – Creating a “Grounding Toolkit”: A grounding toolkit is a personal collection of items and methods that help calm the body and mind. It might include a smooth stone, scented lotion, affirmations, or soothing sounds. The goal is to have grounding options ready when stress appears. Each item should appeal to one or more senses for quick relief. The toolkit acts as a reminder that control and calm are accessible. It can be kept in a bag, desk, or bedside drawer for easy use. Building it encourages awareness of what brings comfort. Over time, the toolkit becomes a symbol of readiness and safety.
