Lesson Overview

5.8 – How to Express Sadness Safely: Sadness is a natural emotion that deserves space and care. Expressing it safely means finding outlets that don’t cause harm or overwhelm. Crying, writing, or listening to gentle music can release emotional weight. Talking with someone supportive can also bring relief and perspective. Safe expression helps sadness move through rather than stay stuck. It reminds the heart that vulnerability is strength, not weakness. Suppressing sadness often leads to more stress later. Allowing it teaches balance and emotional honesty. Over time, sadness expressed safely becomes healing, not painful.
