Course overview
Lesson Overview

3.5 – Using Movement as a Grounding Tool: Movement connects the body to the present moment through rhythm and motion. Gentle exercises like stretching, walking, or dancing bring awareness to how the body feels. Moving helps release trapped energy from stress or anxiety. It also strengthens the link between mind and body, encouraging balance. Simple activities such as pacing, yoga, or slow arm circles can recenter attention. Movement doesn’t have to be fast—it just needs to be mindful. Each motion draws focus to physical sensations and steadies breathing. Regular grounding through movement teaches calm in motion. It transforms restlessness into purposeful presence.
