Lesson Overview

3.2 – Using Breathing to Re-Center Quickly: Breathing is one of the fastest ways to return to calm when stress hits. Deep, slow breaths send signals to the brain that danger has passed. When breathing becomes shallow, the body stays in alert mode. By slowing it down, you tell the nervous system it’s safe to relax. Simple techniques like counting to four on each inhale and exhale can reset your focus. Breathing through the nose helps balance oxygen and heart rate. Over time, controlled breathing improves both mood and clarity. It’s a tool that requires no equipment—just awareness. Every breath becomes a pathway back to safety and presence.
