Lesson Overview

7.12 – How to Handle Raised Voices or Anger: When voices rise, staying calm protects your emotional safety. Lowering your tone and slowing your speech helps de-escalate the moment. Recognizing anger as a stress signal—not an attack—keeps you centered. Setting a boundary like, “I’ll continue when we’re both calm” resets control. Avoiding shouting back prevents the situation from worsening. Deep breathing and grounding remind the body it’s safe. Handling anger calmly models emotional strength. Over time, you learn that peace can exist even in heated moments. Control becomes the most powerful response to conflict.
