Lesson Overview

7.13 – Using Support Persons in Conversations: Sometimes, bringing a neutral person helps keep difficult talks balanced. A support person can act as witness, mediator, or emotional anchor. They ensure both sides feel heard and safe. Choosing someone calm and trustworthy builds confidence in communication. Their presence can prevent escalation and misunderstanding. Before involving them, both parties should agree on the purpose. A support person’s goal is balance, not taking sides. Over time, their guidance can model healthier communication patterns. Supportive presence turns hard conversations into opportunities for mutual respect.
