Lesson Overview

13.7 Creating a Worry Time Routine: Constant worry makes it hard to focus, relax, or enjoy anything, so you give worry a specific time each day instead of letting it interrupt every moment. You write down concerns and revisit them only during your scheduled “worry time,” which helps your brain learn that fear doesn’t get unlimited access to your thoughts. Most worries shrink or disappear when revisited later because urgency fades with time. This routine trains your mind to stay engaged in the present rather than chasing every anxious thought immediately, and the structure brings calm into your day.
