Lesson Overview

14.14 Maintaining Confidence in Groups: Being in a group can feel overwhelming because multiple people and shifting dynamics compete for your attention, but maintaining confidence means trusting that you don’t have to perform for everyone at once. You pick one or two people to focus on rather than scanning the entire room for danger. You join conversations without expecting yourself to dominate them. You give yourself permission to speak when ready and listen with interest when others contribute. You practice staying calm when attention lands on you, reminding yourself that being seen is not the same as being judged. With time, groups feel less like threats and more like opportunities to belong, grow, and enjoy connection.
