Lesson Overview

6.10 Reframing Fear Responses: Fear responses can feel automatic, but reframing them teaches your brain to react differently when discomfort arises. Instead of assuming danger, you pause and question whether your fear matches the situation or if anxiety is exaggerating the risk. You learn new interpretations like “This is uncomfortable, not unsafe” or “My body is reacting to stress, not danger.” Reframing creates space for logic and calm to enter before fear takes over. With practice, fear becomes a signal to stay aware rather than to shut down or escape. Each time you reframe a fearful moment, you teach your brain to trust your strength more than your panic.
