Lesson Overview

5.9 Training Your Brain to Refocus: Refocusing is the skill of noticing when your mind wanders and gently guiding it back to what matters, without frustration or self-criticism. You practice catching distraction early so your attention doesn’t get pulled into worry or unproductive thoughts. You choose one clear priority at a time, reminding yourself that focus is a skill built through repetition. Each time you redirect your mind, even if it wandered many times before, you strengthen the mental pathways responsible for attention control. Refocusing becomes a way to keep your thoughts supportive, steady, and useful, especially when stress or temptation tries to break your concentration.
