24.7 Reframing Physical Sensations: Reframing physical sensations means teaching yourself to interpret symptoms with curiosity rather than panic. You recognize that a racing heart might be excitement or exercise, not a heart condition, and that dizziness may come from dehydration or fatigue, not something life-threatening. You begin asking balanced questions like, “What else could this sensation mean?” instead of only imagining the worst. As you build trust in your body’s normal reactions, fear stops jumping to conclusions. You remind yourself that the body speaks through sensations every day, and most of the time, it is simply signaling needs like rest, water, or calm. Reframing becomes a powerful tool that prevents anxiety from hijacking your body’s messages.
