Lesson Overview

6.9 Creating Personal Exposure Challenges: Exposure challenges help you face the things you fear in small steps so you can prove to your brain that you are capable of handling reality without panic or ritual. You choose gentle challenges that push you just slightly beyond your comfort zone, allowing fear to appear while you remain in control. You repeat the challenge until your anxiety decreases naturally, showing your brain that nothing bad happens when you stop avoiding. Each completed challenge builds confidence, turning fear into evidence of your strength. Over time, the things that once seemed impossible become manageable and ordinary. Exposure becomes not a punishment, but a tool that allows you to take back the parts of your life fear once tried to restrict.
